Painted Faces

Here's a sneak peak of an editorial shoot I did a few weeks ago for a magazine. How amazing is the makeup? If only I could get away with a look like that everyday... On another note, I absolutely adore getting to do shoots that have a more edgy, arty vibe. Oddly enough I find them so much more comfortable and easy to handle than the quintessentially pretty shoots, I love the idea of assuming different characters and facades, trying on different personalities, seeing how they fit... Its a very fun game to play indeed :)

Unfortunately I cant say what the pictures are for yet, but hopefully I can show you lovely readers the rest in a few months, when its due to be published...

Stay Tuned!

Styling and hair by Byron Yeates
if you'd like to see the rest of the shots check out Sean's website here

Betty & Pearl

a few cheeky behind-the-scenes snaps from a shoot I did a few days ago for my friend Jenny's accessory line Betty&Pearl, she makes gorgeous headpieces and handbags that are so delightfully unique and kitsch... we had stylist extraordinaire Byron doing the hair, and the uber talented photographer Yvonne Ryan behind the lens...
click on their names to see what they've been up to, you wont be disappointed :)

and be sure to check out the Betty&Pearl website here to have a look at all her goodies...

the shoot was a lot of fun and we were all joking around and throwing some ridiculous shapes for the camera...
It always helps having a nice playful vibe at shoots, I havent been doing it all that long, I think thats one of the most important things I've learned- to just have fun with it...

here are the finished shots,
hope you like them!

Gti Fashion Show

Here's a quick look at the two outfits I wore for the Gti Fashion Fiesta Fashion show, the one on the catwalk is by Harlow&Harvey, and the longer black one is by Youlia Mora, one of the students...
Loved wearing both of these dresses, so vampy... I felt like Cruellea Devil in the longer one, complete with cigarette holder and all :)

Gti Fashion Feista

some juicy behind-the-scenes shots of all the hard work and prep that the Gti students put into into their Fashion Feista...
these uber talented students really took over the city with their live window displays, huge exhibitions of work, their grand finale Fashion Show, and not to mention parading up the city's main street in their designs for all to see, single file ladies!

the Fashion Show Finale in the Galway Shopping Centre was absolutely AMAZING, and I was so delighted to be involved... the students really put such hard work and effort in... but my goodness did it pay off...

post coming on the Fashion Show soon,
just need to get all my photos in order, argh!

all above photos taken by the very talented Madam Snapper, you should check out her fashion/photo blog here, she's pretty awesome!
