BSFW 2011 - DAY ONE

Beauty School Fashion Week 2011 (BSFW 2011) takes place all week at the Amparo Muñoz Center for the Performing Arts. Today's runway show featured the Balkan's best, Mister Croatia 2010 Radovan Stošić (or Rudi, as we affectionately call him).

"MARIO! MARIO! MARIO!"

Mario! Mario! Mario! No, we aren't talking about the love duet in Act I of Puccini's famous opera Tosca, sung by the characters Floria Tosca and Mario Cavaradossi. But we could be talking about an aria sung by Prof. Chandni to Mario Valentic, Mister Tourism Croatia 2002 and Mister Croatia 2003. Mario is living proof of Prof. Chandni's ABC ultimate bikini body/speedo body theory. Jennifer Hawkins embodies the A, and Mario Valentic embodies the C.

CROATIAN PRESENTATION

The Faculty lounge was abuzz this morning over Izbor Miss i Mr Hrvatske - how gorgeous all the contestants were, the great stage, the classical music, and the overall stylish, sensational presentation. Too bad the show did poorly in the TV ratings. At least that is what Boris told everyone in the lounge. He said it trailed behind Big Brother, of all things!

MISS AND MISTER CROATIA 2011

The new Miss and Mister Croatia 2011 were crowned just moments ago during a live, glittering nationally-televised gala. The new Miss Croatia 2011 is Katarina Prnjak, 21 and 1m73, and the new Mister Croatia 2011 is Vanja Grgec, 24 and a mighty 1m89. Studly Vanja studied in the USA at DePaul University, where he played varsity tennis.
